How vulnereable we are....scary really

The sherpas in guiding western tourists who were hurrying to get up Mt. Everest in Nepal, would irritate their clients, by stopping occasionally.

What are you doing? We are allowing our souls to catch up with our bodies.

Coming home from Atanta, the plane was delayed - coped with that reasonably well, but I had to be at a meeting on little sleep (something I don't do well). Not in good shape. I was vulnerable, my frail body, this clay vessel, was out of whack.

We can monitor, be proactive, but sometimes things come out the blue - get us off course. Our thoughts, behaviour can get a little weird.

Thank you for your grace Lord Jesus - we can trust in you, fall forward on your grace when we need, but more than anything continue loving you in spite of, for, and through our circumstances. You gave us these clay vessels and you know the drill, ahh the incarnation.

We can hide you in our heart. Help us to trust and obey. Because you loved us before we existed we can trust in your love and set aside every fear.
